Los Angeles Chargers mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions
LOS ANGELES (BVM) – Last season, a Los Angeles Chargers team seemingly on the rise made their first playoff appearance since 2018. While the season ended on a disappointing note as they inexplicably blew a 27-0 lead to lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild-card round, 2022 was still a step in the right direction for the franchise.
The reason the future’s so bright in Los Angeles is thanks to franchise quarterback Justin Herbert, who will be entering his fourth season in 2023. The weapons around Herbert, however, are a bit of a question mark.
Wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams continue to age, and both missed significant time with injuries last year. Over the offseason, All-Pro running back Austin Ekeler also requested a trade.
Needing some help in the trenches on both sides of the ball as well, the Chargers have some work to do in this month’s NFL draft to add to a roster which they hope continues to ascend into a contender in the AFC. Here’s a look at who the Chargers could take with each of their seven selections.
