New York Giants mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions
No. 57, Round 2: Joe Tippmann, C, Wisconsin
New York’s offensive line found itself shorthanded on multiple occasions last season due to injuries. Despite that, the Giants rushed for the fourth-most yards (2,519) in the NFL and their continued commitment to the running game will be part of their DNA with Jones and Barkley back in the fold. Adding Tippmann, arguably the best center in this class, would provide additional stability and protection on the interior.
Between the hair, the cowboy hats and his relentless style of play, @JoeTippmann might just be your new favorite offensive lineman. 😤

The 6-foot-6, 313-pound Tippmann moves like a large tight end in space and even has some experience at guard so there’s positional versatility along the interior of the offensive line. Jones was the third-most sacked (44) QB in the NFL last season. That wouldn’t be the case in 2023 if Tippmann lands in New York.
