New York Giants mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions
No. 128, Round 4: Deuce Vaughn, RB, Kansas State
Jones needs to be surrounded by additional weapons if the Giants want to see him continue to improve, and Vaughn matches the description. The 5-foot-5, 179-pound running back is lightning in a tiny bottle but runs like a man twice his size. Vaughn racked up 2,970 rushing yards and 27 scores over the last two seasons while being a trusted target in the passing game (92 catches for 841 receiving yards over last two years).
Duece Vaughn makes it a 28-17 lead for #Kstate on this nasty open field juke.

Yes, Barkley is clearly the offense’s top option and just signed a franchise tag, but the latter means that his long-term future in New York is unclear. Whether or not Barkley is a Giant for the long haul, the NFL’s best teams have more than one trusted ball carrier.
