Stears Named Rookie of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. – Lilly Stears of the Berea College women’s track and field team was named Collegiate Conference of the South Women’s Track and Field Rookie of the Week on Tuesday, conference officials annouced. The Centreville, Mich. Native had a great weekend in the Centre College Twilight, as she set three personal records. In the shot put, Lilly threw 10.56 meters. She followed her performance by recording 31.42 meters in the discus event and 32.48 meters in the hammer toss.
