Top 10 biggest Chicago Bears NFL draft busts of all time
4. Curtis Enis, RB, Penn State (1998, No. 5 overall)
A fellow Nittany Lion, Enis was looked at to be the next great ball carrier for the Bears. However, his career got off to a bad start as after holding out during training camp, Enis tore his ACL just nine games into his career. He was never the same running back after that injury and after a 900-yard sophomore season in 1999, Enis was moved to fullback for the 2000 season.
The running back finished his Chicago career with 1,497 yards and six total touchdowns in 36 games with 18 starts over three seasons. He was released following the 2000 campaign and never saw NFL action again. To make matters worse, the Bears chose Enis over fellow first-round picks Randy Moss, Alan Faneca and Fred Taylor.
