Top 10 biggest Houston Texans NFL draft busts of all time
2. Travis Johnson, DT, Florida State (2005, No. 16 overall)
Johnson was a five-star recruit coming out of high school and decided to play for the Seminoles, where he impressed with 50 tackles and 2.5 sacks and was a first-team All-ACC selection during his senior year.
After the 2005 NFL Draft, it looked like choosing Johnson would shore up Houston’s defense, but that wasn’t the case, as he recorded just two sacks in four seasons. Johnson also never finished with more than 30 tackles in a single season and was out of the NFL by 2010.
