Women’s Golf Extinguishes Season At GLVC Championships

SMITHVILLE, Mo. – Kara Hunt tied for 24th and was Truman State Golf’s best finisher during the stroke-play portion of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Golf Championships held at Paradise Point Golf Club. Hunt’s 75 in the second 18 holes on Friday matched eventual GLVC champion Katelyn Skinner of Indianapolis for the lowest of the second round. She finished her first nine (course’s back nine), one under par 35 and had a birdie on the par four fourth hole on the front side.
