Women’s Tennis Reigns Supreme in PacWest, Tilgner Named Most Outstanding Player

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The Hawaii Pacific University Women’s Tennis team is once again PacWest Conference Champions with their 4-2 win over Azusa Pacific on Saturday morning at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex. The Sharks got their revenge on the Cougars in a rematch of last year’s championship and completed their undefeated conference season. This was HPU’s third PacWest title and most among active schools. HPU battled through the doubles competition and was able to secure the advantage heading into singles.
