Top 10 biggest Dallas Cowboys NFL draft busts of all time
10. Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas (2008, No. 22 overall)
While Darren McFadden was the headliner of the Arkansas backfield from 2005-07, Jones played the secondary role to perfection, finishing with two straight seasons of over 1,100 rushing yards with the Razorbacks. Jones was brought in with the No. 20 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft to share duties with then starter Marion Barber III and was selected two picks before 2,000-yard single-season rusher, Chris Johnson.
In his first two years with the Cowboys in that role, Jones finished with six touchdowns and over 900 rushing yards but struggled once Barber left for the Chicago Bears. When given the keys to the backfield in 2011, rookie DeMarco Murray quickly outplayed him, lessening what should have been more of a bigger role in his fourth season. Jones would go on to play just five seasons with the team, totaling 2,728 yards.
