4. Jayden Thomas, WR
Last season, Thomas began making an impact down the stretch, catching 25 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns. He has breakout potential in 2023 as he looks to earn a starting role opposite senior Chris Tyree, and Saturday’s game was a good start. On the day, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound receiver made four catches for 71 yards and a touchdown, showing a strong connection with new quarterback Sam Hartman. In addition to the touchdown, Thomas also had a beautiful catch for a 46-yard gain. Thomas brings good size and strong hands to this Notre Dame receiving core, and he seems poised to follow in the footsteps of a lot of great wideouts who have come through the program.
