Top 10 biggest Seattle Seahawks NFL draft busts of all time
1. Dan McGwire, QB, San Diego State (1991, No. 16 overall)
Even though he was taken 16th overall in the 1991 NFL Draft, McGwire barely played for the Seahawks. He started just five games and played in 12 during his four seasons in Seattle. The SDSU product had just two touchdowns, six interceptions and 745 yards with a 50.3% completion while a Seahawk. After his fourth season in Seattle, McGwire played one more year with the Dolphins and that was the end of his NFL career.
Dan McGwire is still the record holder for the tallest QB ever drafted at 6'8". Unfortunately for Seattle, they drafted him over a kid named Brett Favre. pic.twitter.com/Q4jEQSeG6I
