Tight Game Doesn’t Go Highlanders Way Against Longwood

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford softball program came up just short in a tight affair Thursday afternoon in a game against Longwood that finished with a 4-2 final score. As has been the theme for the Highlanders as of late, the squad got off to a quick start after a scoreless first inning thrown by starter Chloe Greene. After Lexie Roberts reached off an error, Cori McMillan immediately cashed in with a slow-rolling triple through the right side of the infield.
