COLUMBUS, Ohio (BVM) – The 2023 NFL Draft is the 88th annual draft for the league. See which college football programs have the winning formula when it comes to producing first-round picks across the entire history of the NFL draft (1936-2023).
Note that this list takes into account the data that’s collected by Pro Football Reference. So, only the last school that the player attended is used as a data point. AFL and supplemental picks aren’t included.
Surprisingly, the back-to-back national championship program, Georgia, didn’t make the top 10 list until after the first round of the 2023 draft. Even the top three spots on this list may come as a surprise.
