Softball Tops UMass, 7-2, Wins Series over Minutewomen

AMHERST, Mass. – Behind another steady outing from first-year pitcher Rose Cano, GW softball won the series finale against UMass, 7-2, and clinched its second A-10 road series win of the season. Cano picked up win No. 14 on the campaign in her 15th complete game of the year. The first-year allowed just two runs on seven hits and recorded five strikeouts in the finale.
