Casey Thompson enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB
LINCOLN, Neb. (BVM) – Following one season with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, quarterback Casey Thompson has decided to enter the transfer portal. The graduate senior transferred to Nebraska prior to last season following four years at the University of Texas. With his transfer announcement, the veteran starter becomes one of the hottest quarterback names remaining in the portal.

Over his five years of college football at Nebraska and Texas, Thompson has thrown for 4,829 yards, scored 57 touchdowns and has thrown just 19 interceptions over 29 games played. Given his experience playing at Power 5 programs and his success as a dual-threat quarterback, Thompson will likely receive plenty of attention from programs.
