Gymnastics Announces End of Season Awards
Following the 2023 season, GW gymnastics has announced its annual end-of-season awards. Graduate student Deja Chambliss received the top honor, the Lindsey Ferris Award. This award is presented to the gymnast who best exemplifies the late gymnastics alumna’s team spirit and leadership qualities. It’s the second-straight season in which Chambliss has received the honor. Chambliss also received the top performer award on three events, vault, beam and in the all-around. First-year Deana Sheremeta earned the Outstanding Rookie Award and was also named Entertainer of the Year. Sophomore Marlee York earned the starter award on vault and the Most Consistent Award.…
