Connor Vanover, 7-foot-5 center, enters portal; 5 landing spots

Following Oral Roberts’ successful run to March Madness, Vanover and Abmas aren’t the only ones to have left the program. Golden Eagles head coach Paul Mills also left the team as he took on the same position at Wichita State.

During his short time with the Shockers, Mills has already added some impressive transfers including Miami forward Harlond Beverly, Oklahoma guard Bijan Cortes and UTSA center Jacob Germany, but adding Vanover would likely be the best of the bunch. Given the success he had during his lone year under Mills, Vanover may want to continue that trend as he looks to advance his career to the professional level and joining his former coach’s new program would do just that. The transfer would not only reconnect the coach and player once again but would also add to the energy of Mills’ arrival and make the team an immediate threat in the American Athletic Conference.
