RayJ Dennis enters transfer portal; Top 5 landing spots
4. Baylor
Baylor has had an interesting offseason thus far, particularly in its backcourt, as veteran guard LJ Cryer transferred to Houston, while Keyonte George declared for the NBA draft. Adam Flagler will continue to be the leader of Scott Drew’s squad, but adding another steady veteran presence like Dennis could be key for the Bears. Recently, Baylor did add to its backcourt with Jayden Nunn from VCU and Dale Bonner from Ohio State, but the Bears still could use some added depth, and a little more scoring than those guys provide. Whether Dennis would crack the starting lineup, or become one of the top reserve point guards in the conference, playing in the Big 12 would likely have him more NBA-ready come next offseason as well. He could ultimately be the piece that makes Baylor a contender in the Big 12 once again in 2023-24.
