A true battle of the two heavyweights, Game 5 of the 2015 NBA Finals provided the title fight many looked forward to between the two stars. Behind James’ 40 points and Curry’s 37 points, the two delivered one of the more iconic games during their opening playoff series. Curry’s seven 3-pointers came with a plethora of daggers down the stretch as the Warriors took a close 80-79 game and turned it into a 104-91 finish. While Curry’s MVP run throughout the season seemed to come to the forefront during Game 5, James provided one of the more under-the-radar finishes in the Cavaliers’ loss. He closed with 40 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists.
