DJ Rodman enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for forward
4. Georgetown
While this option may seem out of left field on the surface, Rodman has a significant connection to the Washington, D.C. area and may want to make a move to the East Coast. That connection is none other than his younger sister Trinity who had initially followed her brother to WSU before being drafted by the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League.
The siblings have shown a tight bond with each other over social media and have previously played near each other in the past. This could be enough to sway DJ to opportunities near the Capitol and none would be better than with Georgetown, a team looking for some help at the small forward position due to the loss of Brandon Murray to Ole Miss. While DJ wouldn’t provide that same kind of offensive explosion, his leadership and experience could help new Hoyas head coach Ed Cooley establish his culture in the program.
