Ranking the top 10 undrafted NFL free agents of all time
7. Rod Smith
Smith’s career at Missouri Southern State was full of success after he broke the school’s reception record and was a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy, an annual award given to the top football player at the D-II level. However, Smith went undrafted following the 1994 NFL Draft, signed with the Broncos and played 11 years in the Mile High City.
Smith was a two-time Super Bowl champion, a two-time All-Pro and still holds Denver’s career receiving record with 11,389 yards.
