Jones Tosses Nine Innings of Solid Work as Radford Splits Doubleheader at Gardner-Webb

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. –The Radford softball program split their doubleheader Friday afternoon at Gardner-Webb after falling in game one 8-2, coming back to win the second game of the day 8-4. Game 1 Due to some early costly errors, the first game didn’t go the Highlanders way. Gardner-Webb scored in each of the three opening innings to amount to an 8-0 lead. With the Highlanders comeback from down 8-0 last weekend in the back of their minds, Radford tried to mount a comeback.
