Northwestern Drops Heartbreaker to No. 4 Kentucky in NCAA Tournament Second Round
EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern fell to No. 4 Kentucky 4-3 in a heartbreaker in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in Lexington, Kentucky. Northwestern claimed the first doubles match, with Simen Bratholm/Steven Forman defeating Alafia Ayeni/Alexandre LeBlanc (Kentucky) 6-1 at #1. Kentucky rallied to win at #2 and #3 to claim the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead. Northwestern responded early in singles action, claiming the first set on all six courts.
