Softball Season Ends in Close Loss at Gardner-Webb

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford softball program fell in another close one Saturday afternoon 2-1 at Gardner-Webb in the regular season finale. Radford would have a scoring opportunity early after a Gardner-Webb error got the speedy Lexie Roberts on base to lead off the game. Roberts would steal second and advance to third on a wild pitch but was left stranded.
