Highlanders Fall in Series Finale to Winthrop 13-5

RADFORD, Va. — The Radford baseball team posted 11 hits, but it was not enough as the Highlanders fell to Winthrop 13-5 in the series finale at Carter Memorial Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The game was called in the top of the ninth inning due to rain. Radford (9-39, 1-20 Big South) was led by catcher Julian Rojas, who recorded a three-hit day, going 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI.
