Men’s Track and Field Wraps Up Weekend at A-10 Outdoor Championships
AMHERST, Mass. – The Duquesne men’s track and field team wrapped up competition at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships Sunday at the UMass Track & Field Complex. Freshman Matt DeMatteo just missed out on the podium by 0.66 seconds, sprinting a personal-best 53.77, the third-fastest time ever at DU, in the finals of the 400m hurdles, his second straight day setting a PR. A day after resetting his own school record, sophomore Ryan Ellison ran a 14.66 in eighth place of the 110m hurdles final.
