Softball Edged 2-1 in Season Finale

WASHINGTON – GW softball fell to Fordham, 2-1, in Sunday’s season finale. The Buff and Blue end the season with a 17-28 record, including a 7-19 mark in A-10 play. Rose Cano got the start for GW and was dealing despite the loss. Cano punched out a career-high 10 Rams today, pushing her season total to 116 strikeouts – the fourth most all-time from a GW rookie pitcher.
