Women’s Track & Field Places Eighth at GLVC Championships

ROLLA, Mo. – Maryville University Women’s Track & Field took eighth of 10 teams at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships over the weekend. The Saints finished with 39 points, 30 ahead of the University of Illinois Springfield and nine behind Drury University. Nia Lyles continued a strong senior season with a third-place finish in the shot put with a 13.72m effort. Sarai Brown, Lorena Alanso Sanchez, Darriona Griffin, and Milahn Dukes also helped the Saints score big in the 4×100 with the bronze at 49.15.
