Arguably the Rangers’ most famous captain, Messier, would be reunited with the franchise he helped lead to the 1994 Stanley Cup title. He racked up 691 points for New York and still has the team records for playoff goals (28) and points (80) and won six Stanley Cup titles as a player, showing he knows what it takes to win.
