Greco Selected to Second Team All-Conference, Cano and Corpuz Earn All-Rookie Nods

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – GW softball third baseman Maggie Greco has been selected as the third basemen on the Atlantic 10 Second Team All-Conference, while pitcher/utility Rose Cano and outfielder Ashley Corpuz were named to the All-Rookie Team, the conference announced Wednesday. Greco was named Second Team All-Conference after starting all 45 games for GW at third base. In A-10 play, Greco finished tied for first in the conference with eight doubles and had the seventh-highest OPS in the conference (1.035). Greco owned GW’s highest batting average in conference play (.351), and was also the team’s overall OPS leader (.844).…
