Linares Named Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Finalist

RUTHERFORD, NJ – On April 27, the Diverse; Issues in Higher Education released its most recent edition of the 2023 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars. The award was inspired by Arthur Ashe, a tennis legend, who was the first black player selected to the United States Davis Cup team. Additionally, the athlete was the only black man to ever win the singles title at Wimbledon, the U.S. Open and the Australian Open.
