Zeeland East baseball stymies Mona Shores in OK Green Conference showdown

MUSKEGON – The Zeeland East baseball team took full control of the OK Green Conference title chase Tuesday, as they used a pair of dominant defensive efforts to secure a doubleheader sweep over host Mona Shores. The No. 6-ranked team in Division 1 came away with a 1-0 victory in the opening game of the league showdown with the Sailors and pulled away for a 5-0 win in the nightcap.
