Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks)
Young’s GPA is N/A. Oklahoma didn’t list his college major and he never graduated with a degree since he entered the NBA after one season.
LaMelo Ball (Charlotte Hornets)
Ball’s GPA is unclear since he was homeschooled for part of high school. While he chose to forgo college basketball and play pro overseas, it’s clear that he has no plans of ever going back to school.
“We not trippin’ off school,” Stated Ball in 2021 according to TMZ. “We not dumb. We know how to learn. We don’t need school. And school not even teachin’ you s*** — what the f*** is school?”
Jimmy Butler (Miami Heat)
Butler’s GPA is N/A. He managed to graduate from Marquette with a degree in communication before entering the NBA.
Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic)
Banchero had a 3.5 GPA in high school. He told The Seattle Medium as a high schooler, “I’m pretty good in school.”
Duke never listed his college major, but regardless, he didn’t graduate because he spent one lone year at the school.
Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards)
While Florida listed Beal’s major as social and behavioral sciences, Beal himself acknowledged to Andscape that he was a pre-med student with a 3.5 GPA.
“I was a nerd,” Beal said to Andscape. “So, I was a little different, but in a great way, like, I loved school. My mom was an [athletic director] at a school, so I had to get good grades.”
In 2021, (about 10 years after he started his NBA career), Beal shared with FortyEightMinutes his plans of going back to college to get a degree. He noted that he wants to pursue a degree in business administration, but it appears that he hasn’t completed his college dreams just yet.
