3. Lee Roy Selmon, DE/DT (1976-84)

The 6-foot-3 Selmon had an impact as a rookie. And his role would continue to grow from there. In his second year, Selmon would post 13 sacks for the Bucs. Two years later, he captured the 1979 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Selmon tops the team with 78.5 career sacks. He is among a precious few Buccaneers who’ve had their jerseys retired by the franchise.
