Women’s Rowing competes at National Invitational Rowing Championship

WORCESTER, MA. – The RIT Women’s Rowing team finished their season at the National Invitational Rowing Championships on Friday in Worcester, Massachusetts. The varsity eight boat of Cailey Shaughnessy, Jessica Hall, Evelyn Andersen, Velvet Howland, Izzy Moyer, Veronica Washco, Jonina Yang, Michelle Carney, and Ellen Shepard finished fourth in their opening heat with a time of 7:32.845, good enough to qualify for the petite final. There, they finished sixth with a time of 6:58.319. Ithaca won the petite final.
