Cameron Falls to No. 1 Barry in Elite Eight

ORLANDO – Cameron ran into a wall, as in undefeated No. 1 Barry, on Saturday afternoon in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament at the USTA National Campus, falling to the Buccaneers 4-0. BU opened with a demanding 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles as Daniela Farfan and Xiyao Wang topped Jenna Goessel and Magda Wawrowska. Lea Manga and Karolina Glowinska had a battle on two but could not hold off Deniz Khazan and Nathalia Gasparin, falling 4-6. Vasilisa Polunova and Anastasia Uspenskaia led Angela Leweurs and Dinara Alloiarova 5-4 when Barry secured the point.…
