Track and Field Finishes MWC Championships On a Roll

GRINNELL, Iowa – The Prairie Fire track and field teams competed in the final day of the Midwest Conference Championships on Saturday. The Knox men climbed the rankings to finish fifth overall and the women finished eighth. Tyrell Pierce once again took Outstanding Track Performer for his wins in the men’s 200m (21.49) and 400m (47.56). His 200m time is a new Knox record. Derrick Jackson (10.89), Jonathan Bailey (11.00), and Trevor Geggie (11.49) took second, third, and seventh, respectively, in the men’s 100m.
