#UAPBBaseball: VanMaanen Homers Twice In UAPB’s 15-11 Loss To Grambling

GRAMBLING, Louisiana –Junior Ben VanMaanen put together an outstanding outing at the plate Saturday, hitting two homers, but the UAPB Golden Lions fell to the Grambling Tigers 15-11 Saturday evening at Wilbert Ellis Field. Senior Jacob Riordan got the ball to start for UAPB and took the loss. VanMaanen went 3-for-5 at the plate, supplementing his two home runs with four RBIs. Junior Lawrence Noble added to VanMaanen’s awesome power-hitting performance by going 2-for-4 with a triple along with one walk.
