Zechman wins twice at ECAC meet

TOWSON, Md. – Hood College’s Tay Zechman (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) won both the javelin and the hammer to lead the women’s track and field team to third place at the ECAC Outdoor Championships at Goucher College. Event Winners Zechman heaved the hammer 41.25 meters (135-4) for her first win of the afternoon. She picked up a second victory with a throw of 30.63m (100-6) in the javelin. The junior added a fourth-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 9.89m (32-5 1/2).
