Five UCF Reps Headed to Black Student-Athlete Summit

Four UCF student-athletes— Mia Asenjo (women’s soccer), Kiera Brown (women’s basketball), Darius Johnson (men’s basketball) and William Wells (football)—will attend the 2023 Black Student-Athlete Summit May 21-24 in Los Angeles. Also attending will be UCF deputy athletics director Chris McFarlane. The event is designed for student-athletes, coaches, administrators and professors—and caters to the holistic development of the Black student-athlete. The summit’s goal is to empower Black student-athletes to maximize their collegiate experience in the classroom and take advantage of opportunities.
