3-decade drought: When will Stanley Cup return to Canada?

Edmonton Oilers
Past championships: Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier helped the Oilers make a combined seven Stanley Cup Final appearances, winning five. The last time Edmonton appeared in the Stanley Cup Final was in 2006 when it lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in seven games.
Outlook: Edmonton put together one of the best seasons racking up 109 points to finish third in the West. The Oilers will continue to be led by their two stars, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, who combined for 281 points (116 goals and 165 assists). If the Oilers can find reliable defending and Stuart Skinner can build off this season, they may have the best chance to win a Stanley Cup.
Leon Draisaitl scored 13 goals in these playoffs, despite playing only 12 games.
Brett Hull is the only other player in NHL history to score at least 13 goals in a single postseason, while playing no more than 12 games.#NHL | #Oilers pic.twitter.com/7NthizmxFU
