Baseball Team Becomes First Graduates in GW Class of 2023

In one of the best traditions at the George Washington University, Special Athletics Commencement was held on Tuesday afternoon in Betts Theatre in the University Student Center. With all the pomp and circumstance of a proper Commencement ceremony, the graduates – all members of the GW baseball team, who will be competing at St. Bonaventure this week and will thus miss graduating with their classmates – marched into the theatre in a processional, followed by the National Anthem and remarks from Provost Christopher Bracey.
