Koester Named A-10 Pitcher of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – GW baseball starting pitcher Logan Koester was named the final A-10 Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Koester hurled eight dominant innings in the Buff & Blue’s victory over St. Bonaventure on Thursday while striking out a career-high nine batters. The Merrick, N.Y., native scattered seven hits and walked just one in guiding GW to a 14-1 thrashing of the Bonnies.
