CARBONDALE, Ill. — Two familiar faces have joined the Saluki Football coaching staff as graduate assistants for the 2023 season — D.J. Davis and Coleton Jeralds. A 2020 graduate of SIU, Davis will assist the offense. The Pompano Beach, Fla. native finished his playing career a Southern in 2019 and ranked among the all-time best running backs in school history. A two-time, all-conference selection, Davis totaled 5,431 career all-purpose yards — finishing with the second-most yards in school history and seventh in MVFC history.
