DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University had four student-athletes were selected to the 2023 Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team selected by the College Sports Communicators, which was announced Tuesday. Men’s golf senior Caleb Kimbrough, men’s lacrosse sophomore Brayton Powers and men’s wrestling graduate student Alex Turley and sophomore Daniel Parkulo were all among the student-athletes selected for Division III sports within the at-large category. Kimbrough, a native of New Bern, North Carolina, played in 10 tournaments with a scoring average of 76.6.
