Houston Athletics Succeeds during Spring 2023 Semester

HOUSTON – As the University of Houston Athletics Department concludes the 2022-23 school year, the Cougars enjoyed tremendous academic success during the Spring 2023 semester. Nearly 100 student-athletes received Dean’s List honors for posting a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher with 19 earning a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester. Forty (40) student-athletes received their degrees in May. More than 400 student-athletes recorded a 2.96 semester grade-point average (GPA) during the spring, passing more than 94 percent of the nearly 5,400 hours attempted.
