1. Merlin Olsen, DT (1959-61)

Merlin was a monster in the middle. In 1961, he captured the Outland Trophy and consensus All-American honors. The two-time All-American from Logan made the locals proud. He blazed a trail to Utah State that his brother Phil would follow. The 6-foot-5 leviathan went on to enjoy a successful NFL career. The Los Angeles Rams drafted him third overall in 1962. Olsen was a five-time first-team All-Pro with the Rams.
