ROCHESTER, NY — Day two has come for the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women’s track and field team as they compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. CUC’s two reigning national champions, Kayla Armstrong (Chicago, IL) and Simone Wilson (Minneapolis, MN), both competed in the 400-meter preliminaries this afternoon. Armstrong and Wilson, both competing in separate heats, qualified for the 400-meter finals after some stellar numbers in their preliminary races.
