Christopulos Wins Gold at Pan American Championships

Nebraska men’s gymnast Taylor Christopulos capped his senior national team debut with a first-place finish with Team USA at the Pan American Championships in Medellin, Columbia, on Sunday, May 28. Christopulos helped Team USA to a 247.499 team score, finishing nearly 10 points ahead of second-place Canada, who scored a 238.599 overall. The junior finished with the highest vault score (14.333) for Team USA, while adding scores on pommel horse (13.400), rings (13.400) and high bar (11.000). Christopulos will return to action with Team USA for the World University Games in Chengdu, China, July 28-August 8, 2023.
