Klay Thompson (No. 11 by Warriors) – The four-time NBA champion and five-time NBA All-Star averaged 21.9 points in his 10th active playing season with the Warriors. The future is unclear because of trade rumors, but he is estimated to make a base salary of about $43 million in 2023-24.
Alec Burks (No. 12 by Jazz) – The shooting guard averaged 12.8 points, 2.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds with the Pistons (2022-23). In terms of the future, he has about a $10 million team option for 2023-24. There are some likely trade destinations for him.
Markieff Morris (No. 13 by Suns) – The 2020 NBA champion played with two different teams for the 2022-23 season (Nets and then the Mavericks). He is a free agent this offseason. Notably, this summer, he’ll be an assistant coach for a TBT team.
Marcus Morris (No. 14 by Rockets) – The power forward averaged 11.2 points, 1.8 assists and four rebounds for the Clippers (2022-23). He’s expected to earn a base salary of about $17 million in 2023-24. He’ll also be a coach for a TBT team this summer.
Kawhi Leonard (No. 15 by Pacers) – The two-time NBA champion and five-time NBA All-Star averaged 23.8 points, 3.9 assists and 6.5 rebounds with the Clippers (2022-23). The small forward is expected to make a base salary of about $46 million in 2023-24.
Nikola Vučević (No. 16 by 76ers) – The Bulls center averaged 17.6 points, 11 rebounds and 0.7 blocks (2022-23). He may or may not return to Chicago since he wants to test out free agency as his four-year, $100 million contract ends.
Iman Shumpert (No. 17 by Knicks) – The 2016 NBA champion never officially retired on the record, but the shooting guard last played just two games during the 2020-21 season. As of 2023, he does podcasts and raps.
Chris Singleton (No. 18 by Wizards) – The forward played just three seasons in the NBA after averaging just 4.1 points. As of 2023, he plays for Anadolu Efes in Turkey. The long-term future of his playing career is in the air since he was hospitalized because of chest pains in March.
Tobias Harris (No. 19 by Charlotte) – The forward averaged 14.7 points and 5.7 rebounds with the 76ers (2022-23). While there are trade rumors, he’s expected to earn a base salary of about $39 million in 2023-24.
Donatas Motiejūnas (No. 20 by Timberwolves) – The power forward last had significant playing time for the 2016-17 season in New Orleans. As of 2023, he plays for Monaco in France.
